Who the Saffron Under the Bed is for, and who it isn't
It suits you if
- You want to tie up your partner in bed without hooks or using the headboard.
- You want to secure arms and legs from the sides or the foot of the bed.
- You want something that goes on and comes off quickly and doesn't stay set up.
- You want to take it away with you and use it on another bed.
Better look elsewhere if
- You want to use it away from the bed. It needs a mattress on top to stay in place.
- You prefer genuine leather cuffs. These are faux leather.
How to use the Saffron Under the Bed
- Pass the central strap under the mattress, roughly level with the middle of the bed.
- Take each strap to the side or the foot of the bed where you want the cuff.
- Adjust the length of each strap, up to 152.4 cm.
- Put on the cuffs and adjust them to each wrist or ankle. You should be able to fit one finger between the cuff and the skin.
- When you finish, take it out from under the mattress and pack it away.
Cleaning
Wipe the cuffs and straps with a damp cloth and mild soap, and leave to air dry before storing.
Our tips
- Before you start, agree a word or signal to stop, and always respect it.
- Never leave a tied-up person alone.
- Check hands and feet often: if they get cold, tingle or change colour, loosen the cuffs straight away.
- Keep a pair of round-tipped scissors close by in case you need to release a strap.
- Never pass a strap around the neck.
